Hands-on STEM builds, documented start to finish.

ObjectLabs is a small STEM education project. We build real things with real tools, film the work, and publish build logs and tutorials. No faces, no names — just the work.

Building this October

Full pipeline →

The Halloween lane: spooky builds we're making this month. Picks land soon — each card shows the real parts, effort, and kid roles.

planned

Motion-sensing graveyard

A PIR sensor spots trick-or-treaters and a servo pops a ghost up to greet them.

2–3 evenings

planned

Ghost-writing wand

A persistence-of-vision LED strip that writes glowing words in the dark — captured with long-exposure photos.

2 evenings (needs darkness)

planned

Fog cannon

Cooler + dry ice + fan lays low fog across the yard; a laser pointer becomes a "ghost detector".

1 evening + Halloween night

planned

Haunted cardboard automaton

Cardboard cams, a follower, and a crank — turn the handle and a spider rises and waves. Zero code.

1–2 evenings

planned

Never-rotting pumpkin

A foam pumpkin with a flickering LED circuit that outlasts every real jack-o’-lantern on the block.

1 evening

planned

Haunted paper-circuit house

A paper house where the windows are the switches — press one and a room lights up.

1 evening

Workshops

Free neighborhood workshops are in the works — small groups, real tools, take-home builds. Dates and signups to come.
